Te Rongopai is weekly half-hour bilingual show that discusses the message of Te Rongopai translated as The Good News or Gospel Message.

 

Te Rongopai is hosted every Sunday morning by radio broadcaster & news journalist Mania Clarke (Waikato/Hauraki), who talks to a wide range of Maori about how Te Rongopai has affected the faith of Maori historically, faith of Maori today and its impact to Maori in the future.

There is also a small Q&A segment at the end of the show called PATAI KORERO.  This allows Mania or her guests to answer any questions that have been sent in from our listeners.

Today you will hear part 1 of 3 koorero with Peter Hira of Ngai Tuhoe. He and his wife Vera are Senior Pastors of the Christchurch Worship Centre in Aranui, Christchurch. They were and are still very much a part of helping meet the physical and spiritual needs of the community, following the February earthquake last year. He share about his upbringing and call of God on his life from his childhood.
